Sometimes the journey is the destination
Today, This quote resonates with me. The majority of my career has been a chasing of a thing. Whether it was monetary funds, autonomy, better healthcare, you name it. It’s has been an inner struggle that is present even now. Have you ever pushed yourself to be solely focused on your goals? Like a priced racehorse running in the Kentucky Derby, the goals become all you can see.
If not, you should try it. This mentality has given me several wins. . . Or losses depending on your point of view.
Look, I’m the last person that is against the hustle. Consider me a workaholic — a living and breathing contradiction. I get five hours of sleep on a good day. I’m sure we can agree on . . .
This hustle
The Grind
The race can be ( add expletive here ).
Seemly always moving towards the next and greater horizon. Only to arrive at another vast landscape where the air is thin.
I know, a bit dramatic.
Obviously, there’s strength in thriving for greatness.
In my career, I’m learning the more Intentional I am with my time, the better the work and better I am in the process.
So, while I’m sojourning, It’s that intentionality that allows me to enjoy each stop along the way.
